Judy Hardin Lauer, 72, of Smithdale, MS passed away Monday, January 22, 2024 at Meadville Convalescent Home.

No services are to be announced at this time. Hartman Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Judy was born in Franklin County, MS to the late Charles Thomas Hardin and Sadie Velma Allred Hardin. She could grow anything and had a green thumb. She loved her flowers and plants. She loved to travel with her husband, sister, and brother-in-law. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

She was preceded in death her parents; her husband Joseph Lauer; and one brother, Billy Hardin

She is survived by two daughters Amanda Hughey and Wendy Wheat (Alan); two sons Kirk Seago and Isaac Guillory; five grandchildren  Cari (Charlie), Brandon, Kane, Maddie, and Blaine; two great-grandchildren Dean and Everett; one sister Sylvia Frescura (Jim); numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
