Julia Ann Johnson, 83, of Smithdale, MS passed away February 6, 2025 at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb, MS. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 11, 2025 at Pleasant Valley Church on 6028 A Fenn Rd, Smithdale from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will continue on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until services at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Bro. Jack Whittington will officiate. Hartman Jones Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
Julia was born on July 8, 1941 to Ira McClelland and Julia Womack McClelland.
She was a member of Pleasant Valley Church. She worked at Croft Metals. She enjoyed gardening and flowers. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren. She spent time watching her soap operas, the Young and the Restless was a favorite.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Henry H. Johnson, an infant daughter, and eleven siblings Rueben "Pete", George, Donald, Wayne, Charlie, Ada Belle, Eunice, Christine "Chris", Myrtle Mae, Johnny, and Tommy McClelland.
She is survived by two sons Henry L. Johnson (Tanya) of Franklin Co., and Edward Johnson (Glenda) of Bogue Chitto, grandchildren Lorie Minor (Trevon), James Johnson (Brittany), Amanda Nations (Wayne), Kari Johnson, Klint Johnson, Daniel Johnson and Kalli Johnson, great grandchildren Katylin, Harley, Octavia, Skylar, Peyton, Sawyer, Rayna, Mollie, Layden, and Karter, a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be James Johnson, Daniel Johnson, Wayne Nations, Wayne Jr. Rushing, Derrell Scott, and Gene Dickerson.
