Katherine McGehee Bryan 91, of Kentwood, LA passed away February 22, 2022 at her son's residence in Denham Springs.

Visitation will be Saturday March 5, 2022 at East Fork Baptist Church 17278 Hwy 1054 Kentwood, LA from 9:00 AM until services at 11:00.  Rev. James Avance will officiate.

Hartman Jones Funeral Home of McComb will be in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Bryan was born on April 20, 1930 in Tangipahoa Parish, LA to Holt and Gladys McDaniel McGehee.

She was a telephone operator many years ago for Southern Bell Phone Co.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  Serving her family was what she lived for.  She was a homemaker and longtime member of East Fork Baptist Church in Kentwood.

Mrs. Bryan is preceded in death by her parents; her husband David Monroe Bryan Jr.; her grandchildren Richard Neil Bryan, Jr., Raina Nicole Bryan and Jessica Travis; two sisters Jerry Nell Benefield and JoAnn Ingram.

She is survived by three sons and daughters in law Richard Neil Bryan Sr. (Anita) of Denham Springs, LA, Bobby Brent Bryan (Melessa) of Osyka, MS, David Brad Bryan (Melissa) of Kentwood, LA; one sister Bobbie Coltharp of Logan, UT; 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
