James Keith Smith 70, of Summit, MS passed away at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center on January 29, 2022.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 AM until services at 1:00 PM at Hartman Jones Funeral Home 1801 Delaware Ave. McComb, MS.  Rev. Phillip Hemby will officiate and Burial will follow in the Rocky Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Wesson, MS.  Pallbearers will be Jacob Hill, Dallas Smith, John Hill, Randy Smith, Tim Laird, Alfred Laird Jr. and Don Fauver.

Mr. Smith was born January 23, 1952 in Lincoln County, MS to the late James Colon Smith and Agnes Watts Smith.

He was a welder for over 25 years.  He and his wife were professional team semi truck drivers for many years.  His hobbies included eating and watching TV.  He loved spending time with his family and he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Ann Laird.

Survivors include his wife Edith M. Smith of Summit, MS; three daughters Teresa Smith and her husband Randy of Summit, MS; Rhonda Hill and her husband John of Brandon, MS; Sherry May of Brookhaven, MS; one sister, Peggy Porter of Brookhaven, MS; six grandchildren Dallas Smith, Jacob Hill, Aaliyah Smith, Aniah Smith, Jonah Hill and Neveah May; one great grandchild Aubrey Smith and numerous nieces, nephews and relatives.
