Kenneth Van Norman, age 92, of Summit, MS, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024 at home. Born July 4, 1931 in McComb, MS.

A graveside service will be held Friday May 24, 2024 at 10 AM in Hollywood cemetery in McComb, MS., Rev. David Watson will  officiate. Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb will be in charge of arrangements.

Kenneth was in the military where he was a personal Driver for General I.D. White. He was a retired Dairy Farmer of many years. In 1961, he was named Mississippi Farmer of the Year.

Kenneth loved farming, gardening, and playing cards and dominos. Some of Kenneth's greatest memory's were spending time and telling stories to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. Van Norman and Laura Mae Miles Van Norman May; his sisters Nell Etheridge, Grace Ratcliff, Margret Gatlin; his brothers Robert Lester Van Norman Jr., Charles Ray Van Norman, Jerry Van Norman, James Lee Van Norman, and William "Bill" Van Norman; one son Mitch Godwin.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Ann Van Norman; a special nephew, Hewitt McMillan; son, Michael "Mike" (Tesa) Van Norman; daughters, Laura Ann Van Norman Schilling, Alisa (Randy) Dale; grandchildren, Matthew (Dr. Kaiti Severson) Schilling, James (Amanda) Dale, Lance (Emma) Dale, and Cassie Dale; two great-grandsons Jackson Dale and Stetson Dale, one great-granddaughter, Anna Grace Dale; and numerous nieces and nephews.
