Laura A. Brooks, 49, of Osyka, MS passed away October 18, 2023 at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. A graveside service will be held at Liberty Cemetery on Thursday, November 2nd, 2023 at 11 AM.

Laura was born in Florissant, MO on August 14, 1974 to Elden Sylvester Brooks and Mary Ann Johnson Brooks Reynolds. Laura loved social media, especially Facebook. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and partner. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Elden Brooks Jr., one infant son, Tommy Lee Brooks, and one grandson, Hunter Michael.

She is survived by her partner of 11 years, Timothy Gibson, one daughter, Samantha Dykes, two stepdaughters, Reeno Bergeron and Christina Shipman, four grandchildren, Elizabeth, Easton, Eric, and Torrence, two step grandchildren Joseph and Anthony, two sisters Crystal Murray (Anthony) and Anita Murray, one maternal grandmother Zella Marler, one aunt Judy Mull, one son-in-law Charles Dykes and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.

Honorary Pallbearers will be her nephews.
