Obituary

Lee "Wylie" Tullos, 57, of Summit, MS passed away on February 17, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Visitation will be Monday, February 20, 2023 from 11 AM with services starting at 1 PM at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb. Pastor Jonathan Tullos and Rev. Harvey Tullos will officiate and burial will be at New Bethel Cemetery in Jayess, MS.

Wylie was born on September 25, 1965 to the late Homer W. and Bobbie Lambert Tullos.

Wylie Tullos was a much-loved, loyal, devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Wylie was well respected in his local community. Everyone who knew him knew his word was his honor. He was known by many and never met a stranger. He often would be stopped by friends to visit and chat.

Wylie was devoted and diligent worker for Solvay where he worked for 23yrs. Wylie always loved a good challenge when given to him, which continually gained him many promotions for his skills and popularity amongst staff, management, and senior executives.

Wylie took pride in honoring those who stood for us, he done so by becoming a member of the Patriot Guard Riders. Wylie also joined the Mason's in 2021 and was Union President for Teamsters Local 5 Baton Rouge, LA, where he served two terms.

Wylie was known best for "he was at his best when needed the most" and would "never bet more than a gambler's share."

Many would agree that Wylie enjoyed laughing at others' expenses, mainly by always being out to get a good scare of you.

Wylie will be greatly missed and loved by everyone whose lives he touched.

He was preceded in death by parents, two brothers Johnny Tullos and Jerry Tullos, and one sister Janet Tullos.

He is survived by his loving wife of thirty two happy years Sherron Sinclair Tullos, two daughters Ashley L. Wallace and Jessica M. Tullos, four brothers Joel Tullos, Harvey Tullos (Joy), Chad Tullos (Naomi) and Jonathan Tullos (Brenda), one sister LaWanda Weidman (Kirk), four grandchildren Jayden, Bayleigh, Raephie and Thorne with numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Sherron S. Tullos, LaWanda Weidman, Joel Tullos, Chad Tullos, Tanner Tullos and Billy Brister.
