Linda Ann Cheramie, 78, a resident of Summit, MS; formerly of Cut Off, LA, passed away November 12, 2025 in Summit, MS.  No arrangements are to be announced at this time.

Linda was born on September 17, 1947 in Cut Off, LA to Penlton Joseph  Duet and Mildred Danos. She lived in Cut Off until 2019 when she moved to Mississippi. She enjoyed Hallmark TV and would spend countless time watching it.  She loved to cook, and we enjoyed her loving to cook.  Linda was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, time spent on the beaches with family will always be a cherished memory of her.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings August Cheramie, Janice Callias, Deral Duet and Penlton Duet, Jr.

She is survived by her children Emma Chiasson, David Cheramie and Dayton Cheramie, grandchildren Joshua Thibodeaux, Justen Cheramie and Kayla Thibodeaux, a sister Cathy Duet and a brother Chris Duet, along with other relatives and many friends.
