Loraine Gale Brown Roberts, 70, a resident of Magnolia, MS, passed away at her residence on November 24, 2024.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at East Union Baptist Church from 12 PM until services at 2 PM. Bro. Wade Barnes will officiate and burial will be at Durham Cemetery. Hartman Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Loraine was born on August 3, 1954 to the late Ellry Bob Brown and Yvonne Durham Brown. She was a loved and devoted member of East Union Baptist Church, where she loved singing in the choir. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Lavell Roberts; three brothers Larry Brown, Roger Brown and Bruce Brown; one infant sister; two nephews Billy Joe Johnson and Casey "C.E." Johnson.

She is survived by her sister Helen Brown May of Magnolia, MS; three sister-in-laws Norma Carr of Columbia, MS, Louise Roberts, and Amanda Brown of Magnolia, MS; her children Chasity Jordan of Magnolia, MS and William "Tommy" Gatlin (Angela) of Bogue Chitto, MS; her grandchildren Alisa Gatlin of Bogue Chitto, MS, Payton Jordan of Bogue Chitto, MS, Emily Hardin (Christian) of Bogue Chitto, MS and Kaitlyn King (Treyon) of Bogue Chitto, MS; great-grandchildren Rayna Jayne Jordan, Wyatt Jordan, Ryker Frazier, and Novalee King; special nieces Tammy Kelley, Lacey Howell, and great niece Jacey Howell; one special nephew Kye Kelley; special cousins Michelle Durham, Lee Thornhill, Elaine Johnston, and Martha Simmons; special friend Brother Wade Barnes; along with other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Gatlin, Payton Jordan, Kye Kelley, Billy Morgan, Christian Bass, and David Reidy.

Honorary pallbearers will be Lee Thornhill, Snuffy Smith, and Hunter Duran.
