Hattie Louise Patridge, 86, of Smithdale, MS passed away May 16, 2024 at Courtyard Nursing in McComb.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 22 at Mars Hill Baptist Church from 10:00 AM until memorial services at 12:00 PM.  Burial will follow in the Mars Hill cemetery.  Hartman Jones Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.  Dr. David Millican will officiate.

Louise was born on March 9, 1938 in New Orleans, LA to Ado Morgan and Nola Temple Morgan.  She lived most of her childhood in Magnolia, MS.

She attended Mars Hill Baptist Church after moving from Houston, TX. She loved reading and playing cards. She loved people and made many friends at Courtyard.  She spent time caring for all of them at the nursing home when she was able.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim Patridge, her son James Watson and two infant daughters Teresa Lynn and Linda Diane, a grandson Josh Watson, and a brother Ben Morgan.

She is survived by her daughter Mickie Burris (Earl) of Smithdale, MS, grandchildren Chris Cook (Bambi) of Hendersonville, TN, Cody Caston (Dan) of Smithdale, MS, great grandchildren Mary Ella Cook and Brody Cook of Hendersonville, TN and Lori Caston and Linda Caston of Smithdale, MS, and Nova Watson of Magnolia, TX, a special friend Helen Felder, along with other relatives and friends.
