Mack Hulon Brewer, 96, of McComb, MS passed away October 13, 2022, at The Claiborne in McComb, MS.

Visitation will be held on Monday October 17, 2022 at Mars Hill Baptist Church in Summit, MS. From 9:30 AM until services at 10:30 AM. Bill Brewer, Dr. Victor Walsh and Rev. Jared Leonard will officiate and music provided by Bro. Phillip Alford. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb will be in charge of arrangements.

Mack was born September 17, 1926 in McComb, MS to the late Asa N. and Lizzie Price Brewer.

Mack was a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Army and a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi.

Mack was retired from General Electric Credit Corporation and was a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church. His position took him to Jackson, MS, New Orleans, LA, Baton Rouge, LA and Houston, TX before retiring in Amite County, MS. His strong Christian faith was shown through in his roles as husband, father, father in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather. Long term passions included grandchildren, golf and bridge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Larue "Larry" Brewer and Robert L. "Bob" Brewer and two sisters, Helen Wilkinson and Polly Alto.

He is survived by his loving wife of seventy four years Mary Kathryn Reeves Brewer, one son Bill Brewer (Kim), two grandchildren Ashley Michelle Forman (Jarrett) and Katie Joy Brewer and one great-grandchild Lane Kathryn Forman.

Pallbearers will be Brill Wilkinson, Buddy Reeves, Jarrett Forman, Joe West, Linda Brewer and Mike Manis.
