Margaret West, 71, of Liberty, MS, passed away on November 16, 2023, in Liberty, MS. She was born on April 17, 1952, in McComb, MS.

Margaret attended Amite County High School and furthered her education at Southwest Mississippi Community College. Through her educational journey, she gained knowledge and skills that enriched her life and allowed her to pursue her various interests.

Margaret lived a life of service and was actively involved in her community and church. She dedicated many years working as a caregiver, providing support and care to those in need. Margaret's compassionate nature extended beyond her professional life as she volunteered at the local food pantry and cooked meals for friends and community members.In addition to her life of service, Margaret embraced adventure. She explored the country as a CDL truck driver, experiencing the beauty and diversity of different places.

Margaret's love for flowers led her to establish a successful floral business, showcasing her creativity and passion. She also had a talent for sewing and created a fully-equipped sewing shop at home. Despite her busy schedule, Margaret always found time to tend to her garden, nurturing beautiful plants.

Margaret West was loved by many. She impacted the lives of anyone she met with her genuine heart, kind spirit, and compassionate nature.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents Aline Barron Skinner and Robert F. Skinner along with her brother, T. J. Skinner.

She is survived by her cousin, Sharon G. Steele, best friend, Patsy G. Thomas (Michael Thomas), family friend Ashley L. Andrews - her sons Ashton and Ayden Andrews, with a host of family and close friends.

Memorial services to honor Margaret's life will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 11:00 am at East Fork Baptist Church. Prior to the service, visitation will take place from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Family, friends, and community members are invited to join together in remembering Margaret and celebrating the impact she had on the lives of others.
