Margie Dale Hilburn passed away November 21, 2022 at the University Medical Center in Jackson, MS.

Margie was born August 31, 1959 in Clinton, Louisiana to the late Lee and Margaret Mercier.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter Holly Sheree Teresa Leger; her husband Ronnie Hilburn; sisters Zadie Robertson, Diane Martin and Ruby Moak; and one brother John Mercier.

She is survived by her sister Latricia Roberts of Columbus, MS; her brother Thomas Mericer and his wife Melba of Liberty, MS; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives that she loved so dearly.

Margie liked to cook and made-up lots of recipes.  She also enjoyed sitting on her porch watching birds and hummingbirds.  She was an avid NFL football fan.  We all knew not to bother her when the games were on.  Margie will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at a later date with Hartman Jones Funeral Home of McComb in charge of arrangements.
