Martha Sue Martin,80, of Osyka, MS passed away at SMRMC in McComb, MS  on July 26, 2023  surrounded by her loving family.

No services will be announced at this time. Hartman-Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Martha was born on May 9, 1943 to the late Albert Baldwin Varnado and Willie Varnado.

Martha was a retired owner and operator for twenty five years of Dave's Auction in Osyka, MS and was of the Baptist faith. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grand and great-grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, going shopping at Walmart and most of all, talking to her dear friend Miss Sue on the phone. She worried about others more than herself and will be sadly missed by those who loved her most.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Margaret Ann Weaver.

She is survived by her husband of fifty happy years, David L. Martin, one son David "Ashley" Martin, two daughters Angela Casanova (Frank) and Alicia Moore (Johnny Morgan), six grandchildren Whitney Howell and fiance' (Lane "P'Nutt" McDaniel), Cody McDaniel, Andrea Gaudet (Andrew), Brittnee Billiot (Daniel), Chelsea Baublitz (Brian), and Michelle Long; eight great-grandchildren with numerous nieces and nephews and her best friend Susan Rushing.
