Mary Louise Boyd, 83, a resident of McComb, MS, passed away May 15, 2023 at McComb Nursing and Rehab. Hartman Jones Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Mary was born on September 22, 1939 in New Orleans, LA to Henry Pete Garner and Mary Kirby Marsalis.

She loved to read and was a great cook. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter-in-law Ruth Nettles.

She is survived by her children Linda Boyd (Buddy) of Brookhaven, MS, Wade Nettles of Tallahassee, FL, Patrick Nettles (Paula) of Summit, MS, brothers Rev. Martin Hayden (Eva) of Pearl, MS and Gene Marsalis (Becky) of Smithdale, MS, her sisters Marval Kyzar (Garry) of Marion, AR, Ann Smith (Ronnie) of Marion, AR, Martha Roberts of Summit, MS and Brenda Marsalis of Summit, MS, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
