Mary Nell Hodges Richardson, 78, a resident of McComb, MS, passed away on March 24, 2026 at her residence.

A visitation will be held Sunday April 12, 2026 at First Baptist Church of McComb from 1:00 PM until services at 1:30 PM. Bro. Ric Edmonds will officiate

Mary was born on November 26, 1947 to the late Rollin Lamar Copelan Sr. and Mary Magdalene Sharplin Copelan. She loved her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one son Casey Hodges Jr; three siblings Rollin Lamar Copelan Jr., Betty Louise Richardson, and James Ray Copelan.

She is survived by her husband of 13 years Edward A. Richardson IV; six daughters Christine Maxine Dumont, Judy Kathleen Hughes, Annette Fay Owens, Tabatha Richardson, Mary E. Hodges, and Stacey Diane Thomas; three sons James Hodges, Charlie Hodges, and Bill Hodges; nine grandchildren Crystal, Courtney, Christina, Nycole, Troy, Alex, Jaylynn, Shaylynn, and Katelin; seven great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
