Mary McDaniel, 72, of McComb passed away April 3, 2024 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.

Visitation will be Friday at Trinity United Church from 9:00 AM until Services there at 11:00 AM. Rev. Jeffery Conn and Rev. Demond Kennedy will officiate.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Jimmy Burns, Josh Summers, Jeremy Beeson, Wayne Reid, Buzz Smoots and Jimmy Young.  Honorary pallbearer will be Jerry Duncan.

Mrs. McDaniel was born in Amite County, MS on February 26, 1952 to the late Ivy W. Sandifer and Mary Elsie Westmoreland Sandifer.

She was passionate about her family and loved her grandchildren with all of her heart.  She loved sewing, gardening and raising chickens.  Mrs. Mary was one of the strongest Christian ladies you would ever meet.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister Bonnie Wells; four brothers William Beard, Bobbie Beard, Ivy Lee Sandifer and Earl Sandifer; and one son in law Patrick E. Summers.

Survivors include her husband of 54 Years Pete McDaniel of McComb; one daughter Theresa Beeson and her husband Jeremy of Wesson; one granddaughter Ashley Edmonds and her husband Josh of McComb; one grandson Joshua H. Summers and his wife Brianna of McComb; three great grandchildren Addison, Cane and Jace Edmonds; one special nephew Jerry Duncan; and numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
