Mary L. Stubbs, 95, of Summit, MS passed away at Camellia Estates on July 16, 2023.

Visitation will be Tuesday July 18, 2023 from 10 AM until services at 11 AM at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb. Dr. David Millican will officiate with burial in the Calcote Family Cemetery in Lincoln County, MS.

Mary was born on November 7, 1927, in Franklin County, MS to the late Sam and Exer Floyd Lofton.

Mary was a retired LPN who was employed at Silver Cross Nursing Home in Brookhaven and was a member of the First Baptist Church of McComb and served as president of the Ruth Sunday School Department. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Richard Calcote and James Russel Stubbs, one son Dennis Calcote, two brothers Robert Tinsley and Stanton D. Lofton, one sister Eunice Nail Case, one grandson Kenneth Calcote, step-son Mike Stubbs, and step-grandson Rusty Stubbs.

She is survived by one son Douglas Calcote (Becky), daughter in-law Brenda Calcote (Dennis), one step-son Jerry Stubbs (Gloria), one step-daughter Joyce Hall, one brother Jimmy Lofton, four grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Clark Calcote, David Calcote, Paul Calcote, Daniel Calcote, Will Thomas Calcote and Warner Calcote.
