Melba L. McKenzie, 82, of McComb, MS passed away June 26, 2023 at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.

Visitation will be held Thursday June 29, 2023 from 5 PM to 8 PM and will continue Friday, June 30, 2023 at 9 AM until services at 11 AM all at Navilla Baptist Church.  Bro. Trent Bilbo will officiate.  Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery.  Hartman Jones Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Melba was born in McComb, MS on August 8, 1940 to Ray Lawrence and Mary Lee. She was a member of Navilla Baptist Church. She loved gardening her flowers, cooking, traveling, and camping. She was a wonderful loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She never met a stranger. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Roger Lawrence, and one son, Scott McKenzie.

She is survived by her husband, Willard McKenzie; her son, Mark McKenzie (Susanne); one brother, Jerry Lawrence (Barbara); daughter-in-law, Dawn McKenzie; eight grandchildren, Clint Boyte of Lexington, Kentucky, Suzie Farris (Michael) of Harker Heights, TX, Matthew McKenzie of Killeen, TX, LeAnne Walker, Kayla Harvey (Tyler), David McKenzie (Megan), Brandon McKenzie, and Trey McKenzie all of Summit, MS., great-grandchildren, Austin Farris, Joshua Farris, Isaac Harvey, Weston Harvey, and one on the way.

Pallbearers will be Matthew McKenzie, David McKenzie, Brandon McKenzie, Trey McKenzie, Tyler Harvey, and Austin Thompson.

Honorary Pallbearer will be the Deacons of Navilla Baptist Church.
