Mr. Michael Harold Smith, 62, a resident of Pricedale, died at the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center on Thursday, January 20, 2022.

He was born October 22, 1959 in McComb, MS. He is the son of Harold Alex Elbert Smith and Vera McDaniel Smith.

He was a safety Representative in the oil industry and also worked at Seago Lumber Company in McComb.  He was a member of West McComb Baptist Church.  A very shy and quiet person, Mr. Smith enjoyed reading and was quite the 'bookworm'.  He will be greatly missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his mother.

Mr. Smith is survived by his father; his life partner and mother of his children, Deborah Roberts; three daughters, Holly Rachel (David) of McComb, Hope Smith of Pricedale and Hanna Smith of McComb; one step-daughter, Heather Jetton (Brad) of Oxford, Mississippi; two sisters, Gloria Worrell (Bruce) of Baton Rouge and Darlene Dunn (Dennis) of Saraland, Alabama; four grandchildren, Link Rachel, Ezio Rachel, Taylor Jetton and Hunter Kate Jetton and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 2:30 PM until memorial service at 3:00 PM at Fellowship Baptist Church on Barnett Rd., Summit, MS. Celebration of Life to follow for family and friends at the home of Harold Smith, 2179 Barnett Rd., Summit.  Hartman-Jones Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Fellowship Baptist Memorial Fund or McComb Library.
