Michael "Mike" Riley, of Summit, surrounded by his family, stepped into Heaven on July 24, 2023. He was born on September 7, 1956, in Pensacola, Florida to the late Bill and Ernestine Riley. Using those skills, he excelled in the family business of Riley's Ambulance Service. On September 11, 1976, he entered holy matrimony to Nancy McCue. For forty-six years and ten months, he stood by her as a faithful husband and father. He retired from McComb Coca Cola Bottling Company after twenty-two years of service. In retirement, he loved to fish and hunt at any time he could. He was a faithful member of Trinity United Church.
Mr. Riley is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Riley; one sister, Betty Jones; one son, Michael Brett Riley. He is survived by his faithful wife, Nancy Riley of Summit; his daughter and son in law, Marcie and Brad Jones of Madison; his son and daughter in law, Dusty and Courtney Riley of McComb; his dachshund Holly "Hotty Toddy" Riley; two sisters, Fran and David Hooge of Baker and Sandra Leglue of McComb; brothers-in-law Jonathan McCue (Mandy) of McComb and Jr. McCue (Donna)of Pricedale, and three close friends Mike McCaskill, Jimmy Young, and Pete McDaniel; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 26,2023 at Hartman Jones Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. And will continue Thursday from 9:00 AM until services at 11:00 AM. Reverend Jeffery Conn will officiate. Hartman Jones Funeral Home will handle the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Trinity United Church, PO BOX 1972, McComb, MS 39649.
