With great sadness, we share the news that Nancy Turner died this morning on May 30, 2025 in Walnut Creek, CA.

Nancy will be buried at East Fork Cemetery on Monday July 7, 2025 at 11 AM. The public is welcomed to attend.

As some of you may know, Nancy was recently diagnosed with advanced cancer. Even so, her death comes as a shock. This past Monday, she fell down her front steps and suffered a serious brain injury. She was hospitalized and, in her final days, was surrounded by those who loved her.

Nancy was a long-time member of St. Paul's and an integral part of our worshiping life. She sang in the choir nearly every Sunday, read in church, and quietly gave her time and care to weddings and other services. She showed up week after week and year after year with a deep sense of commitment and grace.

O God of grace and glory, we remember our sister Nancy before you this day. We thank you for giving her to us, her family and friends, to know and to love as a companion on our earthly pilgrimage. In your boundless compassion, console us who mourn.

Give us faith to see in death the gate of eternal life, so that in quiet confidence we may continue our course on earth, until, by your call, we are reunited with those who have gone before; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
