Norma Jean Thornhill Coker, 93, of Summit, MS passed away August 28, 2025 at her granddaughter's residence in Summit.

Visitation will be Saturday August 30, 2025 at Hartman Jones Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until services at 11:00.  Burial will follow in the Enon Cemetery.  Bro. Wayne Thornhill and Bro. Donnie Coker will officiate.  Pallbearers will be Wayne Thornhill, Jason Jones, Rodney Magee, Jeffrey Kansas and Dawson Richard.

Mrs. Coker was born on May 17, 1932 in Walthall County, MS to the late Perry Thornhill and Nancy E. Thornhill.

She was a longtime ward clerk for Walthall County General Hospital.  She loved to bake cakes and crochet.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Charles A. Coker; a son Roger Bruce Coker; five brothers Ernie, Willard, Wilson, J.H., and Conn Thornhill; three sisters Ora Greer, Roma Travis, and Lena Mae O'Quin.

She is survived by her granddaughter Brittni M. Bossier of Summit; great grandchildren Bella Mae, Breanna and Dawson Richard; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
