Pamela N. Berberette, 77, of Summit, MS., passed away on August 11, 2024 at SWRMC in McComb surrounded by her loving family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday August 15, 2024 from 1 PM until services at 3 PM at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb. Rev. Rick Kennedy will officiate and burial will be in Pike Memorial cemetery in McComb, MS.
Pamela was born on September 11, 1946 in Columbia, South Carolina. She is the daughter of the late, Fred J. and Mary Frances Dykes Nettles.
Pamela was a retired teacher, librarian and a member of New Heights Baptist Church of Summit. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to paint, cook, watch sports, cooking shows, game shows and remodeling shows. She taught first grade at Bearss Academy, eight years, she worked as a Library aide at Millsaps College, eight years she was an Educational Specialist with MPB, eleven years as a Library assistant at the Architect Library for Miss State. She will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry T. Berberette, one son Kevin N. Berberette of Brandon, MS., one daughter, Lee Ann Cunningham of Summit, MS., one brother, John Nettles (Sara) of Canton, MS., one grandson, Adam Keene (Melissa) of Brookhaven, MS., three great-grandchildren Austin Keene, Bentlee Keene and Jonah Keene.
Pallbearers will be Adam Keene, Bentlee Keene, Neal Bass, Brian Ellison, Brett Nettles, Mike Berry and Kevin Berberette.
