Captain Patrick Eugene Ennis, US Marine Corps retired, born July 26, 1934, died at home on August 24, 2023. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Hartman Jones Funeral Home from 12:00 PM until services at 2:00 PM. Hartman Jones Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.  Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.

Captain Patrick Eugene Ennis served in the US Marine Corps for 23 years and completed one tour in Korea and two tours in Vietnam.  He enjoyed traveling with his wife and spending time with his family.  He was beloved by all and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents Albert Eugene Ennis and Ruth Ennis, along with his wife Athalee Williams Ennis.

He is survived by his son James Michael Ennis and wife Dorothy, his daughter Colleen Ennis Budde, grandchildren Tiffany Moak  and Ryan Moak, Bennette Tate, Jr.(Karen Smith), Mary Beth Fair (Dustin, Sr.), Robert Tate (Kelsey), Douglas Tate, great grandchildren Brently Moak, Dustin Fair, Jr., Jesse Fair, Bryson Tate, Forrest Tate, and Hoyt Tate, October Tate, Sophia Hales and Hunter Tate, his brother Michael Ennis and wife Barbara, along with numerous other relatives and friends.
