Obituary

Paul Ansel Fenn, 83, a resident of Bogue Chitto, Mississippi passed away at his residence on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born January 17, 1939 in Amite County, Mississippi. He was the son of the late Hilton and Myrtle Nix Fenn.

He was a retired foreman from Entergy and a member of Montgomery Baptist Church.  His fondest memories are hunting and fishing with his grandchildren and spending hours telling stories about anything and everything.  He loved his church family and enjoyed watching sports, listening to gospel music, and fox hunting with his friends.

Mr. Fenn was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Daniel "Jiggs" Fenn, Johnny Fenn, Carolyn "Cat" Nelson, and Janice Hinton.

Mr. Fenn is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Violene Adams Fenn; one son, Greg Fenn and wife, Jill of Covington, Louisiana; one daughter, Kristi Fenn Benefiel and husband, Jeff of Madisonville, Louisiana; one brother, Bobby Fenn of Winnsboro, Louisiana; one sister, Frances Johnson of Summit, Mississippi; five beloved grandchildren, Taylor Benefiel, Zachary Fenn, Bryce Benefiel, Baleigh Benefiel, and Blayne Benefiel along with many other nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Stevie Fenn, Reggie Fenn, Scott Fenn, Brad Bellipanni, Rusty Allen, and Darrell Smith.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Nettles, Tim Wroten, Rocky Jackson, Newton Matthews and Roger Arnold.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 12:00 PM at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home. Dr. Mark Fenn, of West Monroe, Louisiana will officiate and music will be provided by Ann Fenn.  Burial will follow in the Montgomery Baptist Cemetery, in Lincoln County.  In Lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Paul Fenn's memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org ,  P.O. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Haley and the staff of St. Luke Home Health and Hospice.  A special thank you also to caregivers Shelia Pittman and Cutretta Hughes for the loving care and many laughs.
