Rona Elizabeth "Libby" Hill, 94, a resident of Summit, MS passed away on May 11, 2026 at McComb Community Care.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Macedonia Methodist Church at 3 PM. Bro. Hunter Wooldridge will officiate and Hartman Jones Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.

Libby was born on October 3, 1931 to the late Daniel Alven Jennings and Verona Pearl Edwards Jennings. She was an active member of West McComb Baptist Church. She was a member of many organizations including the Daughter's of the American Revolution Judith Robinson Chapter, The McComb Order of the Eastern Star, Sunny Hill Club, Yesterday's Kids, and The Red Hat Society. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of sixty seven years Charlie Hill; and two sisters Kathleen Eaton and Era Jennings

She is survived by her son Charles A. Hill (Diane); her grandson Joshua D. Hill (Amanda) of Prince George, VA; her granddaughter Elizabeth Adams of the Mississippi Gulf Coast; her five great-grandchildren Michael Lee Haygood, Adam T. Haygood, Jessica E. Hill, Jacob A. Hill, and Samantha Dunn (Tyler); her three great-great grandchildren Eric Dunn, Jeremy Davis Haygood, and Blakeleigh Haygood; her sister Peggy Parker of West Point, MS; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Adam Haygood, Michael Lee Haygood, Mike Poss, Jacob Hill and Joshua Hill.
