Ronald John Bankston Sr., 91, a resident of Summit, MS, passed away peacefully, on February 19, 2024.

Ronald was born on August 29, 1932 in New Orleans LA., to the late Leonard and Vivian Bourgeois Bankston.

Ronald was a retired Life Insurance salesman and of the Catholic faith. He loved to stir the pot. He was an avid golfer and was a wonderful husband to his wife that is deceased Verlene Bullock Bankston.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Gloria Claire Labit, his second wife Verlene Bullock Bankston, two sons, Ricky James Bankston, and Ronald John Bankston Jr., three brothers Leonard, Earl and William, and four sisters, Vivian, Audrey, Lorraine and Shirley, one granddaughter, Amanda Bankston

He is survived by one son, Edward S. Bankston (Teri), one sister Alice St. Angelo, two daughter in-laws Jackie Bankston and Ann Bankston, five grandchildren, Dustin, Brian, Rebecca, Ronnie and Lauren with numerous other great and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
