Graveside services for Sandra Renee' Taylor Kirby and children Ian Micheal Kirby and Amanda Beth Kirby will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 10:00 AM Terry's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.  Hartman Jones Funeral Home will handle the arrangements.

Sandra, Ian, and Amanda died Sunday, July 17, 2022 in Boulder, Co; following an aircraft crash.

Sandra, 48, was born on October 31, 1973 at Woman's hospital in Baton Rouge, La.  She is the daughter of David Alton Taylor and Deborah Ann Hockett Taylor.  She was a longtime resident of Port Allen , LA.  Sandra worked at LSU for 25 years, and enjoyed all things yellow. She is survived by her parents and her brother Stephen Taylor of Liberty.

Ian Micheal Kirby,17, was born on November 29, 2004 at Woman's Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA to Joseph Vance Kirby and Sandra Renee' Taylor Kirby.  He played trumpet in the Port Allen High School Band.  Ian was looking forward to his senior year of high school and was enjoying having his learners permit for his drivers license.  He wanted to be a teacher. He loved pink and all shades of red. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Joe and Marty Kirby.

He is survived by his grandparents David Alton Taylor and Deborah Ann Hockett Taylor of Liberty, MS; along with his father Joseph Vance Kirby of Whitecastle, LA and his uncle Stephen Taylor of Liberty, MS.

Amanda Beth Kirby, 13, was born on December 18, 2008 at Woman's Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA to Joseph Vance Kirby and Sandra Renee' Taylor Kirby.  She lived and attended school in Port Allen, LA.  She was looking forward to joining the school band and and playing the clarinet.  Amanda liked bright colors, especially purple.  She liked to draw and was quite talented.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Joe and Marty Kirby.

She is survived by her grandparents David Alton Taylor and Deborah Ann Hockett Taylor of Liberty, MS; along with her father Joseph Vance Kirby of Whitecastle, LA and her uncle Stephen Taylor of Liberty, MS.

In lieu of flowers donations in honor of Sandra, Ian and Amanda can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The Shriner's Hospital for Children, or a charity of your choice.
