She graduated from Southwest Mississippi Community College and also from Mississippi College.  She continued her education by receiving a degree from the New Orleans Theological Seminary. She served as a youth minister until her time had matured and she felt as though she could no longer relate to the youth. She then built a business named Sandra Loy Brown and associates. She helped with financial planning and a combination on insurance. She loved her career and all the family and friends she met over the years. But most of all she loved the Lord.  Sandra was a talented artist, using her skill to do chalk drawings for churches.

Sandra would not want anyone shedding a tear, but rejoice in the victory of Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her special cousins Kevin B. Wells and Debbie K. Whitehead Bowlin both of Summit, along with numerous other cousins and a host of friends.

The family wishes to thank the staff of The Claiborne and the staff of the Asbury Hospice House for the loving care given to Mrs. Sandra L. Brown and the entire family.
