Mrs. Sandra P. Reeves, 77, a resident of Magnolia, passed away at the North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, Louisiana on Monday, September 18, 2023.  Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, September 23, 2023 from the Hartman-Jones Chapel with Dr. David Millican officiating.  Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6 till 8 P.M. on Friday, September 22, 2023 and from Noon till service time at 2 P.M. on Saturday.

She was born August 1, 1946 in McComb, the daughter of the late Jim and O'Dell Welch Parker.  She had retired as a cashier with Walmart.  She was an honest and dignified woman who was hard working and reared three children and lived "by the rule" her entire life.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Alton Reeves, a daughter, Tammy McCaskell, a brother, James A. Parker, and a granddaughter, Sandralynn Minton.

Mrs. Reeves is survived by one son, Larry Lambert of Osyka, Mississippi and one daughter, Barbara Hurt of Magnolia.  Three grandchildren:   Shain Hurt, Katrina Lyon, and Daniel McCaskell.  4 Great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be:  Shain Hurt, Donald Hurt, Delance Hurt, Daniel McCaskell, John Minton, and David Minton.  Honorary pallbearer will be Billy Jack Traylor.

Burial will be in the Bluff Springs Cemetery with Hartman-Jones Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
