Michael "Scotty" Roberts, 52, a resident of Magnolia, MS; passed away February 5, 2024, at his residence.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Terry's Creek Baptist Church from 9:00 AM until services at 11:00 AM.  Rev. LaVerne Summerlin will officiate. Burial will follow in the Alton Roberts Cemetery. Hartman Jones Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Scotty was born on April 23, 1971, in Hammond, LA to Mike Roberts and Rose O'Chery Roberts. He was a member of Terry's Creek Baptist Church.  He worked at Walmart Distribution as a lift operator for 29 years, where he made many close friends. He loved his family, always putting everyone before him. Scotty loved his church family and spent time cooking for them all. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father Mike Roberts, his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Alton Roberts, and Mary and Sarge O'Chery.

He is survived by his mother Rose O'Chery Roberts of Magnolia, his brother Corey Roberts (Holly) of Magnolia, a niece Emalee Rose Roberts, his brother by love Tony Marshall of Magnolia, aunts and uncles, other relatives, along with a host of friends.
