SGM Charles F. Forman, 81, of McComb, MS., passed away from this life on June 10, 2025.

A visitation will be held Monday, June 16, 2025 at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb from 1 PM until services at 2 PM. Rev. Gaye Bosley and Rev. Fred Cook will officiate and burial will be at Magnolia Cemetery. Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb is in charge of arrangements.

He was born on November 14, 1943 in Magnolia, MS to Rodney Robert and Cora Nell Forman.

He was a member of the Nazarene Church in Magnolia for the greater part of his life. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and wonderful husband of sixty years. He went to work full time for the MS National Guard in 1965. Charles attended many service schools, including 6 months at the US Army SGM Academy. He retired after 34 years of service as SGM in September of 1999. Following retirement, he was supervisor for the family support center in McComb.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Doyle Forman and Johnny Forman; and his sister Ruth Lang.

He is survived by his wife Delores B. Forman of sixty years; his son Todd Forman; Daughter Theresa F. Brent (Jeff); and his sister Betty Creed, Also surviving him are his grandchildren, Karly Roberts(Chance), Justin Brent(Heidi), Dillon Brent(Nicole), and Ty Forman(Sydney), along with his great grandchildren, Grace Anne Brent, Hollie Mae Brent, Cooper Brent, and Farrah Forman, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Justin Brent, Dillon Brent, Ty Forman, John Forman, Jeff Brent and Steve Richards. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Parsons, Barry Forman, and Kris Forman.

The family would like to thank St. Luke Home Health, the doctors and nurses at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center, the staff at Camellia Estates, Hospice Compassus and all of the family and friends that have helped.
