Sharon Caston Melancon, born April 6, 1957 in Natchez, Mississippi passed from her earthly home to her heavenly home June 18, 2022 surrounded by family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 at Hartman Jones Funeral Home in McComb from 9:00 AM until services at 11:00 AM.  Rev. William R. Johnson Jr. and Reverend Keith Lilly will officiate.  Burial will be in the Lilly Family Cemetery in Liberty, MS.

She is preceded in death by her father, Barney W. Caston Jr.; mother, Lola Mae Lilly Hall; brother, Edgar W. Caston; brother-in-law, Ken Allan (Winky) Walters.

She is survived by her husband, Errol (Chuck) Melancon Sr.; daughter, Cynthia Tharp and Travis; Son, Joshua Sibley and Kylie; son, Errol (Chuckie) Melancon Jr and Lisa.; daughters, Clancy and John Navarre Sr., Coye Melancon and Chris Michaud; brothers, Charles and Prentiss Caston; sisters, Bobbie Walters and Sandra Caston and long-time friend, Juste (Jimmie) Smiley. Sharon had 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Juste (Jimmie) Smiley, Caleb Tharp, Brandon Whetstine, Joseph Vicknair, Brandon Hunt, Devin Croft and Dustin Tomlinson.
