Sherry Wolvin Dewett passed away January 18, 2024, at Camillia Estates in McComb.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Hartman Jones Funeral Home from 1:30 PM until services at 2:30 PM. Burial will be at Hollywood Cemetery. Mr. Tom Gonzalves and Dr. David Millican with officiate the services.

Sherry was a member of North McComb Baptist Church. She was retired from the McComb School District and previously worked as a cashier at the Days Inn restaurant in McComb.

Sherry is preceded in death by her husband, James Dewett, her parents, Roland and Winnie Wolvin, one brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Ardith Wolvin.

Sherry is survived by her daughters, Donna Dewett of McComb and Debbie Dewett Howell (Paige) of Summit. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Hadley Howell of Starkville, Whitley Howell of Hattiesburg, and Kran Howell of Summit, and one brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Lucille Wolvin of McCook, Nebraska, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Paige Howell, Kran Howell, Scott Thompson, Hayes Thompson, Brad Fortinberry, and Kevin Wells.

The family would like to thank Camillia Estates and Hospice Compassus for the care and love shown to Ms. Sherry over the past several months.
