Shirley Ann Givens Nunnery,87, of McComb, MS., passed away on February 22, 2026 at the Diversicare of Tylertown.

She was born August 14, 1938 in Brookhaven, MS.

She is the daughter of the late, Marshall Bud and Mable Florence Boutwell Givens.

Visitation will be Saturday March 7, 2026 from 12 Noon until services at 2 PM at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb. Rev. Michael Didon will officiate.

Shirley was of the Baptist faith and a wonderful home maker. She loved to sew and do all sorts of arts and crafts. She enjoyed vacations and traveling with her family and family reunions. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by parents, her sisters Mary Alice Givens Cutrer, Mattie Lou Givens Pickett and Margaret Lavenia "Dago" Holmes Rogers, her brothers, Franklin Leander "Buddy" Givens, Marshall Ray Givens and Elmer Louis "Buck" Holmes, two grandchildren Jayce Devan Thames and Brent Jordan Whittington.

Survivors include her children and grandchildren, Randall Webb Flippen (Denise) their children, Jeremy W. Flippen (Heather), James "Derek" Flippen (Ashley) and Shannon A. Vessier (Landon). Lisa Flippen Hopkins (Bill) her children, Chris Thompson (Christy), Casey L. Thompson (Sadie), Cody L. Thompson (Amanda).Debbie Seale Vede (Jason) their children, Brent Jordan Whittington (deceased). Leslie "Dee Dee" Seale Thames her children, Marshall "Bud" Hill, Jayce D. Thames (deceased). Sherry Seale Pine (Buddy) their children, Ross T. Pine (Marie), Logan L. Pine (Blaise). Herman "Brad" Pace (Jennifer "deceased"), his children, Taylor Gordan (Caleb), Bradleigh D. Pace.

Her great-grandchildren are, Caston and Cami Thompson, Austin, Mason and Hayes Thompson, Addie Meyn, Bethany and Bevin Flippen, Raven Orso, Cali and Axel Flippen, Cort  Flippen (arriving soon), Jane and Eryn Vinson, Savannah McLin, Autumn, Isabella and Charleigh Vessier, Parker and Paxton Pine, Raiden, Blaise and Briar Pinero, Liliana and Audrielle Hill, Breanna, Cadence, Bracey and Gabriel Whittington, James Gordon. Her great-great grandchild, Koa Flippen.

Her sister in-law, Lucy Cutrer Givens with numerous nieces and nephews, special mention of her three nieces,  Billie N. Pylate,  Jackie F. Nobles and Norma "Gale" Pylate, and long time family member Kell Thompson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chris, Casey and Cody Thompson, Ross Pine, Jeremy and Derek Flippen, Bud Hill, and Kell Thompson.
