Sophia Pearl Ruckert Yeager, 94, of Osyka, MS, passed from this life to eternal life on December 7, 2023 in Metarie, LA.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 10 AM until services at 12 PM at Hartman Jones Funeral Home in McComb, MS. Burial will be in Roberts Cemetery in Osyka, MS.

Sophia was born on October 10, 1929 to Hazel Cutrer Bullock and William Ruckert. She retired from Hilton Hotel Corperation. She was a member of Line Creek Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her step father, Ernie Bullock; her husband, Clarence L. Yeager; her sister, Billie Joe McNabb; her brothers, Earnie Earl Bullock and Charles Iris Bullock; and grandparents, Joe and Pearl Cutrer.

She is survived by her sons, Clarence Wayne Yeager (Christine) of Ruth, MS and Ellis Ray Yeager (Sonia) of Marrero, LA; her daughters, Rebecca Louis Yeager (Miguel) of Rose, LA and Melissa Gail Yeager of Harahan, LA; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, relatives, and friends.
