Stephen Bryant
Davis
February 13, 1977 – March 21, 2024
Stephen Bryant Davis, 47, a lifelong resident of Pike County passed away March 21, 2024 at his residence.
Visitation begins at 11 AM Saturday, March 23, 2024 until services at 1:00 PM at McComb Church of Christ, 1111 Parklane Rd. McComb. Bro. Jeff Frank will officiate. Burial will follow at Pike Memorial Gardens. Hartman Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Stephen was born February 13, 1977 in McComb to Mark and Mary Reagan Davis. He was a lifelong member of McComb Church of Christ.
Stephen was a graduate of North Pike High School and University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Criminal Justice. He had a knack for attention to detail which showed in his success, first as a loss prevention manager, and then as an insurance adjuster/claims representative. His passion for customizing vehicles definitely helped him become the go-to guy for writing and reviewing insurance repair estimates. This spilled over into a long-time hobby of collecting Hot Wheels, customizing them, and selling/trading with others. Anyone who knew him knew he loved fried chicken and the famous Brewer/Jackson bread pudding. In his down time, you could usually find him laughing at and sharing funny cat videos or watching Fox News. He enjoyed nothing more than a good prank.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Clifton and Charlene Tony Reagan and Jasper and Mildred Roberts Davis and one aunt, Joan Ra'Naye Davis Simmons.
He is survived by his parents; his wife of 29 years, Molly Stewart Davis; sons Matthew Davis and Ruston Davis and wife Britni; one daughter Grace Davis; two sisters, Dana Davis Brumfield and husband Bradley, Caitlin Davis Elliot and husband Chris; four nephews Addison Brumfield, Spencer Brumfield, Phillip Brumfield, and Tyson Elliot; cousin Rayford "Ray" Simmons Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers are Adam Smith, Chan Thomas, Danny Bracey, Josh Frank, Gene Morgan, Lee Ellzey, Bradley Brumfield, and Chris Elliot.
