Steven "June bug" Sanderson, Jr., 27, a resident of Brookhaven, MS; passed away September 17, 2025 on highway 48 outside of Tylertown.

Services are being held on October 11, 2025 at Percy Quin state park in McComb, MS, arranged by his close family.

Steven was born on March 12, 1998 in McComb, MS  to Steven "Stevie" Sanderson, Sr. and Amanda "Mandy" Bryant.  He was of the Baptist faith.  Jr. spent time with his family.  Wrestling with his nieces and nephews and going to the river with his family.  Jr. Was full of life and would see a friend in anyone.

He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

He is survived by his parents, his brother Robert Sanderson, his sister Amberissa Whitaker and brother-in-law Brad Whitaker, six nieces and nephews, family and friends.
