Stewart A. Smith, 87, a resident of McComb MS, passed away on March 9, 2022 at the SMRMC in McComb, MS.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 14, 2022 from 10 AM until service at 11 AM at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb. Rev. Robert Netterville and Dr. David Millican will officiate and burial will follow the service at Hollywood Cemetery in McComb.

Stewart was born on August 19, 1934, in Kentwood, LA., to the late Willie Francis Smith and Ivanee Stewart Smith Hunt.

Stewart was a Barber and stylist and spent his life as an educator in this field. He owned and operated numerous schools through-out the United States. He was a member of the Central Baptist church in McComb. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grand and great-grandfather who will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, a step-father Lawrence Hunt, one infant brother James Smith, two sisters Jane Idell Smith and Agrea Ann Smith and one great- granddaughter Ivy Susaita.

He is survived by his loving wife of sixty eight happy years Aileen Barr Smith, one son Stewart A. Smith Jr. (Arlene), two daughters Catherine Smith Brooking and Theresa Smith Fisackerly (Wiley), eight grandchildren Stewart A. "Trey" Smith III, Wade Tyler Smith, Mason Daniel Smith, David Michael Brooking, Stephen Stewart Gale, Aileen DeHart; Linnie Sustaita and Frances Fisackerly, five great-grandchildren with numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Stewart A. "Trey" Smith III, Wade Tyler Smith, David Michael Brooking, Nick DeHart, Moses Susaita and Isaiah Brooking.

Honorary pallbearers are Larry Bryant and Daniel Ruidant.
