Talmadge "Tee" Blalock, Sr., 73, of Liberty, MS, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2023, at his home in West Lincoln.

Talmadge was born on February 22, 1950, in Centreville, MS to the late Harvey and Dorothy Blalock.

He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Edward Blalock, Billy Abel, Bob Abel, Merlin Abel, Thomas Blalock, and Timothy Blalock; and one grandson, Christopher Blalock.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Debra Blalock; two sons, Talmadge D. Blalock, Jr. married to Allison Blalock and Samuel D. Blalock married to Kristine Blalock; five daughters, Dorri Blalock, Crystal Rush married to Tommy Rush, Wendy Temple, Mary Blalock and Sara Parkman; his brother, George Blalock; his sisters, Elsie Blake, Janet Devereaux, and Shirley Payne; his sister-in-law, Elmese Blalock; with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He owned Blalock's Body Shop, Inc., which he opened in Liberty, MS in 1973. If you knew Tee you know that he loved God and appreciated his blessings, loved his family, helped others, never missed an opportunity to break bread with a friend or a stranger, and worked hard. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.

His family will honor him Sunday, August 13, 2023, by feeding his friends, family and community, between 2:00 and 4:00, at the American Legion Post 76 in Liberty, MS.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that if God touches your heart to help someone, whether they be a friend or a stranger, do what you can.
