Tammy Jo Munn, 66, a resident of McComb, MS passed away on January 2, 2024 at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be held at Hartman Jones Funeral Home Friday, January 5, 2024 from 5 PM to 8 PM and continue on Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 9 AM until services at 11 AM. Burial will be at Rushing Cemetery in Tylertown, MS. Bro. J.R. McBeth and Bro. Jerry Terrell will officiate. Hartman Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Tammy was born on December 25, 1957 to Robert Kirk Easley and Geneva King Fairburn. She is preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Ted Fairburn; and one sister, Barbara Fairburn.
She was retired from McComb Market. She was a member of New Vision Community Church and was an avid quilter, dog lover, and Mickey Mouse collector and loved spending time with her family, but her grandchildren were the true blessings of her life. There is no doubt that she will be missed by many.
She is survived by her husband, Ricky Munn; two sons, Corey (Monica) Deer of Brandon, MS and Chad Deer of McComb, MS; two daughters, Ashley Deer of Tylertown, MS and Ashley (D.J.) Townsend of Bogue Chitto, MS.; 8 grandchildren Kaylin, Julia Ann, Jacie (Clayton), Hunter, Mason, Maddox, Eli, and Layla; three great-grandchildren Cole, Lucy Jayne, and Nola; one sister, Amy Terrell of Tylertown, MS; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Clayton Bergeron, D.J. Townsend, Chad Deer, Corey Deer, Mason Deer, and Hunter Townsend. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cole Bergeron, Eli Gonzales, and Maddox Deer.
