Mr. Ted Bailey, 74, a resident of Summit, passed away at the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center on Saturday, March 4, 2023.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the New Life Apostolic Church and will continue Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 9:00 AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM at the church.  Rev. Josh Hoss and Rev. Kenneth Patten will officiate. Burial will be in the Fellowship Cemetery with Hartman-Jones Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

He was born February 28, 1949 in Pike County, Mississippi. He was the son of the late T J and Minnie Marie Thames Bailey.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Willis Bailey and Bobby Joe Bailey.

Mr. Bailey is survived by his wife, Patricia Moak Bailey; one son, Chris Bailey; one daughter, Mickie (Oscar) Salas all of Summit; one brother, Cecil (Martha) Bailey of Ruth, Mississippi; three sisters, Barbara (Joe) Butler; Minnie Ruth McDaniel all of Summit and Anita Westbrook of Zachary, Louisiana; two grandchildren, Tristan (Kobe Roberts) Espinoza, and Brianna Espinoza and one to be; one great grandchild, Vallie Ann Roberts and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Kobe Roberts, Oscar Salas, Karl Byrd, Kody Byrd, Aaron "Little Baby" Byrd. and Karlton Byrd.
