Thomas Henry "Tommy" Carroll 83, of Summit, MS passed away Tuesday March 22, 2022 at his residence.

Visitation will be Friday at Hartman Jones Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until services there at 2:00 PM with Rev. Kenneth Patten officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Summit.

Pallbearers will be Greg, Ricky, and Boo Carroll, Daniel Murphy, James Hughes, Kyle Brooks, Dustin Bailey and Russell Phillips.

Honorary pallbearers are E.J. Bryan and Billy Sumrall.

Mr. Tommy was born October 18, 1938 in Pike County to the late Henry W. and Ruby Roberts Carroll.

He was retired from the Pike County Road department where he worked as a foreman for over 30 years.  He loved running equipment, gardening, hunting, fishing and riding his best friend Homer Dale around on his mule.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Mary Ann Moak Carroll; four sisters Kathleen Reeves, Nell Mooney, Betty Roberts and Faye Wallace; five brothers Mike, Jeff, Robert, Sammy and Jimmy Carroll.

Survivors include his son Jason Carroll of Summit, MS; his sister Frances Carlisle and her husband Glenn of Summit; two brothers James Carroll and his wife Christine of Baker, LA; Eddie Carroll of Smithdale, MS; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
