Tommie A. Turnage 94, of McComb passed away August 4, 2026 at Camellia Estates Assisted Living in McComb.

Visitation will be Friday August 7, 2026 at Fernwood Baptist Church from 11:00 AM until services at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Hollywood Cemetery. Rev. Trent Moak will officiate.  Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.

Mr. Turnage was born on May 20, 1932 in Columbia, MS to the late Reecie and Estha Reeves Turnage.

Mr. Turnage was a retired office manager and accountant for Eisworth Motors for over 40 years. He was a faithful member of Fernwood Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for over 50 years. He served in the US Coast Guard during the Korean War. He enjoyed coon hunting and playing basketball, softball and gardening.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 62 happy years Patsy Middleton Turnage; and brothers L. H. “Buster” Turnage and his wife Louise, Jerry Neal Turnage and his wife Willie Faye.

He is survived by his son Allen Turnage and his wife Misty of Liberty, MS; three daughters Jackie Barksdale and her husband Steve of Clinton, MS; Bobbie Jo King and her husband Dennis of Jonesboro, AR; Christie Barkley and her husband Jason of Josephine, AL; seventeen grandchildren ; twenty three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
