Tracy Taylor Hoots, 49, of Summit, Mississippi passed away on March 1, 2022.

He was born March 13, 1972 in McComb, MS. He was the son of Lockwood Hoots, Jr. and Nancy Taylor Hoots.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 4, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Hartman Jones Funeral Home and will continue on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 1:00 PM until services at 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Dr. David Millican will officiate. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery. Hartman Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Tracy attended McComb High school. After graduation, Tracy started a career as a welder.  He spent most of his welding career at Smith Machine and Welding and Summit Plastics.

When Tracy wasn't working, he loved being outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. When he wasn't in the woods, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and his best friend and loyal canine companion, Buck.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Clem and Lester Taylor; paternal grandparent Lockwood Hoots, Fannie Hoots, and his mother Nancy Hoots

He is survived by his father Lockwood Hoots, Jr.; his children, Judy Hoots Moran (Matt), Taylor, and Samantha; his grandchildren, Mia Moran, Naomi Moran and Mason Glover, James Gabriel Lewis and Jace Gavin LeBlanc; two brother's Tony Hoots (Christie) of Bogue Chitto, and Trent Hoots (Kim) of Knoxville, Tn; his nieces Brea Bales (Chris) of Bogue Chitto, Kylie Pittman, and Kinsley Hoots; his nephews Braden and Braxton Bales of Bogue Chitto and Tayten Hoots of Knoxville, TN.
