Troy Hughey Ford, 43, a resident of Brookhaven, MS; passed away June 19, 2023 at Kings Daughters Medical Center.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Hartman Jones Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until services at 11:00 AM. Dr. David Millican and Dr. Dave Hartson will officiate. Hartman Jones Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
Troy was born on December 23, 1979 in Magnolia, MS to Ms. Candy Hemphill. He was a member of both Central Baptist Church and Bala Chitto Baptist Church. Troy had a big heart and a smile that would light up a room. He loved to help anyone with a need, especially his mama. His favorite friend was "Uncle Mike." He enjoyed playing baseball and watching football. The Saints and LSU were his favorite teams. He looked forward to Camp Sunshine every summer. He loved to sing, as well as dance, and one of his favorite ladies was Ms. Mattie, whom he loved. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Betty Hemphill, his maternal grandfather Hughey Ford, and two cousins, Alicia Hemphill and Bobby Hemphill.
He is survived by his mother, Candy Hemphill, "Uncle Mike" and wife Tammy, cousin Michael Hemphill II, and great uncle Phillip Hemphill. He is also survived by his second family Sherrie and Bill Wall, Corey and Heather Wall, Joy and Mitchell Eads, and Connor Wall, and Hunter Wall.
Honorary Pallbears will be Helping Hands and Josh Rayner.
In lieu of flowers to Bala Chitto Baptist Church Building Fund and Camp Sunshine.
