Troy Ray Rhodus, 64, of McComb, passed away July 13, 2023 at the University Medical Center in Jackson, MS.

Memorial services will be held July 25, 2023 at Hartman Jones Funeral Home in McComb beginning at 11:00 AM.

Mr. Rhodus was born August 22, 1958 in McComb, MS to Donald Rhodus and Ollie Joyce Comeaux.

Troy was a person who loved everyone.  He would do anything for anyone, but hardly ever asked for help himself.  Troy always had friends wherever he went.  He loved his family, especially his mother who he visited each weekend when he worked in Louisiana.  The past few months Troy spent numerous hours playing cards with his brother, Cousin Judy, sister in law and mom.  Troy was a good friend, son, and brother.  He loved to hunt and fish and spent many years working in the oilfield as a barge captain.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

Mr. Rhodus is preceded in death by his father Donald Rhodus; step father Melvin Comeaux; grandparents George and Anna Allen; Claude and Zoie Mote; step brother T-Mel Comeaux; and a special friend Henry Martin.

Survivors include his mother Ollie Joyce Comeaux of Bogue Chitto; brother Phil Rhodus and special sister in law Carol of Bogue Chitto; sister Pam Westbrook (David) of Globe, AZ; cousin Judy Parsons (Darrell); step brothers Billy Comeaux (CeeCee); Stevie Comeaux (Shirley); Special friends Brad Fortenberry; Gerry Crawford, Phillip Pine and Tommy Rose; and numerous other family and friends.
