Vennie Janette "Jan" Etheridge, 75 years old, of McComb, MS., died peacefully at Southwest Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family on January 10, 2025.

A graveside service will be held Saturday on January 18, 2025 at 10 AM in Enon Cemetery. Rev. Demond Kennedy will officiate.

Vennie was born on December 19, 1949, in Mississippi to the late, Jewell and Bernice Mulford Magee.

Vennie was a homemaker and a member of Charis International Church of God in McComb. Jan was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who most enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a devout Christian who loved the Lord and was known by all she encountered, of her kindness and Christian spirit.  She will be greatly missed by her friends and family. A special thanks to the staff at McComb Nursing and Rehab, Southwest Regional Medical Center's Emergency Room Department and Intensive Care Unit for their care.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Earl Etheridge, one brother, Sammy Jewell Magee, two sisters, Betty Ruth Thornhill and Nola Faye Boyd, and a stepdaughter Melissa Arena.

She is survived by two sons and their spouses, Brian Etheridge (Tish) and Brad S. Etheridge (Danessa), a stepson David Etheridge (Melissa) and a stepdaughter Melanie Holman, four grandchildren, Austin Etheridge, Joel Etheridge, Madison Etheridge and Emma Etheridge with numerous other nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
