Obituary

Willard Eugene Seale, 90, of McComb, MS, passed away March 7, 2023 at Camellia Estates in McComb.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at New Heights Baptist Church from 10:00 AM until services at 11:00 AM.  Bro. Marvin Howard will officiate.  Burial will be in Mt. Zion cemetery in Smithdale.  Hartman Jones Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Willard was born in Franklin County, MS on September 12, 1932 to Euce Seale and Lillian Bowlin Seale. He was a United States Army Veteran; he spent time stationed in Germany. He attended under the GI Bill a vocational school in Ferriday, LA where he was taught cabinetry. He and his wife were founding members of Stanton Baptist Church in Cannonsburg, MS.  Willard once lived in Natchez, MS where he worked at Armstrong Tire until retirement.  His family then moved to Smithdale.  He was a very active member of New Heights Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He loved gardening, and teaching others his art of gardening.  He enjoyed playing guitar at Camellia Estates and sang with various church groups. Bro. Marvin Howard described it best "He bloomed in the mission field where God planted him". Willard was a blessing to many staff and residents at Camellia Estates.  "He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God."

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Florene Melissa Seale, a brother Henry Lewis Seale and several half brothers and sisters, son-in-law William David Ramage, along with a number of other relatives.

He is survived by his children Pamela Ramage of Houston , TX,  Jasper E. Seale (Denise) of Biloxi, MS, Kay Templet (Darren) of Destrehan, LA, grandchildren Abigail Taylor (Collin), Amanda Cordar (Andrew), Jessica Felter (Michael), Rebecca Judkins (Tyler), Kayla Watson, Grant Templet, great grandchildren Riley Taylor, Paige Taylor, Brooks Taylor, Oliver Cordar, Emilia Cordar, Scarlett Felter, Rose Felter, Margaret Judkins, sister Ruby Jean Smith (Cloy), brothers Bobby Seale, Delton Seale (Bobby ), brother-in-law James Pearlie Bowlin, special nephew Nathaniel (Nathan) Wells, along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Wells, Jonathan Wells, Darren Templet, Grant Templet, Tyler Judkins, Michael Felter and Collin Taylor.
